STDEVP()

Returns the statistical standard deviation for the population for all values in the specified expression.

Signature

STDEVP ( [ ALL | DISTINCT ] expression )

STDEVP ([ ALL ] expression) OVER ( [ partition_by_clause ] order_by_clause)

Parameters

  • expression — Is a numeric expression. Aggregate functions and subqueries are not permitted. *expression* is an expression of the exact numeric or approximate numeric data type category, except for the bit data type.
