QUOTENAME()

QUOTENAME returns a Unicode string with the delimiters added to make the input string a valid SQL Engine delimited identifier.

Signature

QUOTENAME ( 'character_string' [ , 'quote_character' ] )

Examples

SELECT QUOTENAME('my table') AS quoted;
quoted
----------------------------------------------------------------
[my table]
SELECT QUOTENAME('abc[]def');
[abc[]]def]
SELECT QUOTENAME('abc def');
[abc def]
