Computes the sum of the non-null input values.

Signature

sum ( smallint ) → bigint
sum ( integer ) → bigint
sum ( bigint ) → numeric
sum ( numeric ) → numeric
sum ( real ) → real
sum ( double precision ) → double precision
sum ( interval ) → interval
sum ( money ) → money
